Prestige Account
A wrapper for institutional and trustee investors holding a segregated portfolio, with reporting written for a trustee board rather than an individual investor.

Who it is for
Trustee boards, corporate investors and family offices
What it does
- Segregated portfolio service with an appointed manager
- Trustee-format quarterly reporting and annual valuation
- Multiple signatory and dual authorisation controls
- Consolidated custody through a single nominee
The product in full
The Prestige Account is written for investors who are answerable to somebody. A trustee board, a corporate treasury or a family office does not need a client-facing statement with a pie chart; it needs a valuation it can put in front of an auditor, a record of who authorised what, and reporting in a format its own governance cycle already uses.
So the differences from the retail wrappers are structural rather than investment-related. The portfolio is segregated and managed by an appointed manager — the client’s own, or one from our panel. Custody is consolidated through a single nominee, so the board sees one position rather than reconciling several. Dual signatory authorisation is standard, and multiple signatory arrangements can be built to match a trust deed or a treasury policy.
Reporting is quarterly in trustee format, with an annual valuation. That cadence is chosen to fit the way trustee boards actually meet, because reporting that arrives at the wrong time in the cycle is reporting nobody reads.

How it works
What happens, in order
From the first enquiry to the point the cover, the contract or the facility is in place.
The mandate and the governance are agreed first
Who may instruct, who must countersign, what the manager may and may not do. This is written down before any money moves.
A segregated portfolio is established
From £1m, with an appointed manager. The assets are held for this investor rather than pooled.
Custody is consolidated through one nominee
So the board has a single position to reconcile and a single valuation to audit.
Quarterly trustee reporting, annual valuation
In a format built for a board pack rather than for an individual investor, with the annual valuation timed to the reporting year.

The numbers
A worked example
Illustrative arithmetic, so the shape of the product is visible rather than described. Nothing here is a quotation or a projection.
A £5m trustee mandate
What the governance looks like in practice, rather than what the portfolio returns.
- Portfolio
- £5,000,000
- Structure
- Segregated
- Investment manager
- Client-appointed
- AuthorisationTwo authorised signatories on every instruction, as standard
- Dual signatory
- Custody
- Single nominee
- Reporting
- Quarterly, trustee format
- Valuation
- Annual, timed to the reporting year
The minimum portfolio for this service is £1m. Nothing here is investment advice or a mandate recommendation: the investment decisions belong to the appointed manager and the board that appointed them.
An illustrative segregated mandate
One way a £5m trustee portfolio might be structured across asset classes.

Suitability
Where the Prestige Account fits
The cases it answers, the cases it does not, and what an underwriter needs before quoting.
It is the right answer when
- Trustee boards, corporate investors and family offices with £1m or more.
- Investors who must evidence who authorised each instruction.
- Cases where an existing manager should be retained but custody consolidated.
Look at something else when
- Individual investors, for whom the Premiere or Delta contracts are designed.
- Portfolios below the £1m minimum.
What we need to quote
- 1.The trust deed, treasury policy or board resolution setting the mandate.
- 2.Authorised signatory list and the authorisation rules.
- 3.The manager appointment, if the manager is the client’s own.

Questions
What brokers ask us about this product
Can we keep our existing investment manager?
Yes. The manager is appointed to the portfolio, and can be the board’s own choice or one from our panel.
What does trustee format reporting mean?
A quarterly pack written for a board: valuation, transactions, income, and the authorisation record, in a form that goes into minutes and into an audit file without being rewritten.
Is dual authorisation compulsory?
It is the standard, and most boards keep it. Alternative arrangements are built to match the governing document rather than the other way round.
